If Zoe was a flower

Sometimes I just find an object that remind me of a person and in this case I felt a close up of a beautiful pink flower opening up was like a girl I know. Sharp attention to detail in the centre but softens out as it unravels to the outside and so if Zoe was a flower she would be this one.

Created on Procreate and printed out on an A3 silk finish but fits as a A4 to allow a wide white frame to bring you eyes into the centre. I felt this presentation suited the picture best.

We’re not the Freaks

Inspired by a friend I created this wee illustration of Animal from Sesame Street. I wanted it to be over the top and have a rough texture. It was printed on A4 and mounted on brown foam board and given as a gift.

Created on Procreate using Evolve, Ink Bleed, Monoline, Soft Airbrush and Bonobo Chalk brushes.

Femke & Chris “The Line Up”

Tabletop timetable for Femke and Chris’s wedding reception to let guests know what was happening and when. They wanted something A5 and not to over the top. I wrote out the information and put a chalkboard image behind it, I then played about the opacity to get it to look like it was written on.

Created on Procreate, printed on ppd A4 Matt 170gsm then glue 1.5mm card and cut down to just smaller than A5. Print settings – Epson vivid colour, photo RPM on Matt, 2 per sheet of A4.

Ajax for Dad

I wanted to draw something special for my dad’s birthday, what better than his puppy (dog) Ajax. I chose the cutest picture I could find and adapted the picture to make a card.

Drawn in Procreate using iPad pro + Apple pencil. A4 card + A3+ Matt poster mounted on brown mounting board.

Dallas Garden Party

Nice clean branding for my beautiful garden parties with my partner, hence the name Dallas. I combine his surname with pretty flowers (as I love flowers) and it works with the garden party theme.

Deliverables:

A3 poster, Goodie bags with 6 by 8cm stickers, napkin square sticker 3.5cm

Adeline

Beautiful picture of Adeline (Iain’s sisters wee girl) drawn out on procreate /iPad Pro / Apple Pencil. This piece took around 34hrs – took a lot longer than I thought but I love it. It’s going to be printed as an A4 card.

40th Ruby card

I decided to make a card to celebrate Ron and Sally’s 40th wedding anniversary – what an achievement. It took 14hrs to sketch and draw this out and I sent it off to Moonpig to print it on an A4 card I’m dead happy with the outcome.

Procreate video showing the process.
